About the Project:
The goal was to create a Promotional Bumper for a product using common household items and tools. I chose Bailey's Irish Cream and showcased the process of crafting a beverage using the product. I want the viewer to see the simple elegance in using Bailey's to craft a delicious beverage and be invited to try it for themselves.
Accomplishments:
Visual Design: I matched the colors of the background to the Bailey's bottle label to keep the product in mind for viewers. I worked to make the transitions between clips seamless to not distract from the overall mood and process of crafting the perfect drink.
Brand Alignment: I reviewed hours of videos currently found in Bailey's marketing to ensure a consistent brand identity with their drink commercials and had the same font at the end for their product.
Point of Pride: I scripted the video and developed the footage in a couple hours. I was able to go from idea to finished product quickly with minimal revisions. I really enjoyed turning a product and idea into a finished advertisement - an invitation into this brands world.
MY STORYBOARD
My process involves small storyboard sketches for what I plan to do with my commercial. I usually put all my ideas down in order, but of course not everything you imagine comes out looking like it does in your mind. That's where improvisation and determination come in!
